2D / 3D Animation
The Term “Animation”
The term "animation" may refer to any visual representation of an object or process in the real world. This is the art of creating images that can be animated, which can then be used in movies. For example, if a movie is set in outer space, animators would create pictures of their own worlds and use them as the basis for scenes where these things happen. In animation, images become live-action objects created by humans with computers as the medium.
What do we mean when we say "Animation"?
When you talk about something being animations; it's almost always the creation of computer generated imagery (CGI). An animation can be used to describe anything that moves. This is often done by adding sound effects to real-world objects to make them more interesting in motion picture productions.
In television programming, the main categories of “Animation” are:
Live-Action AnimationA live-action animation involves actors and CGI which is produced using traditional filmmaking techniques.
Analog animationAnalog animation refers to animation made in photographic or electronic form as opposed to real-time.
Real-life animationReal-life animation is often the most difficult type of animation to master, even though it makes up only a small percentage of the total number of animation applications in America, and it represents less than one percent of the American workforce.
What is 2D-Animation?
2D, or two-dimensional animation, could be a combination of inventive technique and media style that makes the illusion of movement in an exceedingly two-dimensional setting. The traditional 2D animation includes: Flipbooks, draw on film animation, cell animation, roto scoping. The digital 2D animation techniques include: 2D Bitmap Graphics, Vector Image, Motion Capture, Abode Flash Player.
Types of 2D-Animation
Cell AnimationThe first sort of second animation could be known as ancient animation or cell animation. I like the term hand-drawn animation as a result of that outline its most vital side - the very fact that it's drawn by hand. This is the classic sort of animation you are most likely most accustomed to. within the recent days, animator’s player characters’ frame by frame, and so those drawings were transferred onto clear acetate sheets known as cells for painting. that is wherever the term cell animation comes from.
2D Vector AnimationNowadays there are a unit new ways that to form second animation employing a second digital puppet. These area unit second characters that area unit designed with a system of bones and controls which will be manipulated in an exceedingly manner the same as a 3D character rig. The distinction between second rigged characters and hand-drawn characters will get a touch indistinct. Programs like Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Animate CC allow you to seamlessly combine and match hand-drawn animation with second puppet techniques, typically even among constant character. A character may have bones that allow the animator create it, however even have alternative elements that area unit animated by hand.
Stop Motion AnimationStop Motion Animation Stop motion has many variants, however all of them involve manipulating globe objects. These objects area unit enraptured slightly, and photographed one frame at a time. Once shown in sequence, these frames produce the illusion of movement.

What are the steps for making Animation?
“Logo N Design” (www.theamericanlogo.com) not just only create 2D animation but also create moments for our clients. We create moments that are real.
To make 2D animations most important steps are:
First Step: SketchTo begin this part, we usually start off with a sketch. At least that’s what I had originally planned. Our initial idea was to create 1D drawings for characters. Then combine them into 2D animations. After that, our team added non- essential aspects, such as props, backgrounds, textures, etc. Once that was done, our team started adding texture, and eventually I added color. Eventually, we added the ability to control several parts at once.
Now, obviously, creating something like that has its own set of challenges. One would think it would take days to create and is pretty easy to follow, but we had no idea when people get lost in the intricacies of this thing and lose track of the original plan. Anyway, after a few weeks of trying to figure out what our team were doing, the end result wasn’t bad; there were some mistakes, and we didn’t even realize until someone else pointed it out. Luckily the mistake wasn’t too big to notice and the effects were minimal, but it was not enough to leave it alone and continue with my project. Finally, we were able to create something that looked professional and finished quickly. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out exactly right. But then, I saw the effect of a poorly drawn creature, and decided that this was the direction I wanted to go in. we sketched more to provide best quality to our consumers. Slowly but surely. Finally, it seemed to end up just fine enough to make a prototype and show it to
Second Step: Make sure the Drawing Process worksOnce the drawing has been done, now, we need to convert it and transfer it to the new file format. To do so, you must ensure both the content and style are accurate. Therefore, it is vital to use tools that perform the conversion. Adobe Illustrator was one of the best solutions for us during this stage of development. It allowed us to work seamlessly at low resolutions and manipulate colors and shapes seamlessly.
Third Step: TransferOnce the correct files are saved, the last step is to transfer the vectorized information, video animations from Illustrator to Blender where it will finally be converted into a mesh object. Our company then transfer the product to our valuable customers.
Our company “Logo N Design” is a Texas (USA) based Design Company that create illustration, 1D animation, 2D animation, video animation, business cards etc. (Link:www.theamericanlogo.com).
We are a group of people who had no clue what was going through their heads while developing animation, but rather had fun doing it. Our creators keep in mind all the principles of making an effective video game, created illustration, 1D animation, 2D animation, video animation, business cards etc. including avoiding the pitfalls of photorealistic rendering, then this could potentially solve the majority of challenges that are present. Today most commonly used animations for games include camera movements and various different types of motion capture techniques. When looking at some of the lesser known movies coming soon, you can easily find the same amount of pixels. And it’s not talking about anything too complicated either, just some nice animation with complex geometry that gives fans of the franchise a great feeling that is our main motto. These films need to generate a ton of imagery before producing the final product.
Wrap Up
2d animation is everywhere: on the screens of our TVs, on the internet, in the cinemas, even on the billboards on the streets. Somehow, we constantly interact with it by watching or creating them. In this article, we’ve discussed the basics of creating 2D animations both for beginners and for those who want to create animated videos for their business.
